Hi Betty,

How are you? I have been wanting to write this email, but never got
around doing it for one reason or the other.  During our last meeting, you asked me to rank your, for
the lack of better of term, predictions and it is my belief that I gave you a 6 or 7. After our conversation I realized that it must be at least 8. I do believe that I am in a much better place than before, I had this mortal fear of
driving on american highways and so never even applied for a license since the day I landed, it has been 11 years - well now I drive 30 miles (one way) to work!!!  Never owned a property of any sort before, but now I signed up for a house and bought a car! Most importantly, I lived alone all these years (due to job situations) but now I am back with my family - it is good to be under one roof finally. Survived a heart attack and maintaining my healthy life style, not perfect, but here I am not afraid of running for 45 min non-stop. At the time of our meeting, I had just returned from the hospital after the heart
attack sort of quit smoking but not really sure of what is going to happen but now it has been 17 months since I stopped smoking and dont even think about it anymore. In other words I got everything one could wish for - I am not making
millions but I learned that money isnt everything.

So, Betty if I take the essence of your predictions rather than the literal words then I am certain it will qualify for more than eight!

There is still one thing that I have not been able to predict or manage, it is my career and those work around me. The level of jealousy is high and respect for my experience and me has hit rock bottom. This is something I never managed to make sense and has become a constant source of stress and so have decided to quit the current job as soon as I find another
one. I do not think it is worth to put an effort when you do not feel at home.

This is more than what I expected to write, hope I did not take too much of your time.

Hi, Betty,

I am having many amazing experiences with these innie cards (THANKS FOR CREATING THEM) but I just have to share what just happened a few minutes ago.  I got an email from the chair of a fundraiser activity for my daughter's school, sent to the whole committee asking whether anyone would be interested in chairing the committee next year, since her child will be graduating.  So I quickly asked whether I should offer to chair the committee and then picked a card: "table"  I burst out laughing!  Since I didn't draw a "chair" on a card, Spirit used the next best thing.  And of course, I saw "cooperation" "bringing light to the group" and "sharing sustenance" within that.  I'm sure that if I took the time now to go deeper, there would be so much more.  But I'm working on something else I was led to earlier this morning.

Yes!  Indeed... Sally was not only found, but your predictions/intuition were SPOT ON!!!  he was hanging out across the street...literally steps away under the porch steps where Franks... my partner in crime, always sees Nick, the owner, sit down and take his boots off at the end of the day!  Rita and Nick thought that Sally was an adorable stray.. and brought him in the house! He stayed with them... slept in the closet (shoes) until they saw a sign I placed outside of my house on a chalkboard!  You were right!  Thank you Thank you thank you!!!  Sally is snuggling my leg right now as I write to you, sandwiched by my big old chocolate labrador, Sherman!   The family is back together.  Three cats: Jack, Mimi and Sally... and two Dogs...Sherman and Thomas.  Thomas is Sally's favorite playmate!  So cute.  ALthough, I am having problems with Jackie... he LOATHES the kitten, is deathly afraid of him, and refuses to come in the house anymore.  I have tried many different tactics... not sure what to do.  My beloved Jackie used to curl up and sleep the day away in his own little bed.  We will see.... 5/ 2010

Hey Betty!  I hope all is well with you.  I wanted to give you an update on me – sort of – more for you actually.  When we last spoke you had talked about me partnering with Laurel in some manner.  You had said that maybe there was a way for her to operate under Laurel Street Flowers with her own business.  At the time I thought it seemed unlikely and maybe a bit too complicated, but here we are.  Laurel is going to keep her business, Poppies and Posies, doing the weddings (I will actually pay Poppies and Posies to do the weddings).  Anyhoo…thought you should know that you were dead on…….again.  It’s always nice to hear that you’re good at something, as you are, but you may not hear how accurate you are.  Well Done!  I’m at the new location.  We’re still not open (there is so much to do), but we’re getting there.  I have a lot of consignment and that’s working out great.  I hope that the money I make off of the consignment will be enough, because the artists are great and it’s nice to help them feature their work.  Miss you and hope to talk to you soon (when I get a freakin minute).  Love, Paula
